Euromoney names Fargo Wealth "Hong Kong's Best Chinese Multi-Family Office"

2024.03.25

London, March 21, 2024 – Euromoney, a leading international financial magazine, has announced the winners of its 2024 Global Private Banking Awards. Fargo Wealth was honored with the title of "Hong Kong's Best Chinese Multi-Family Office," making it the only Chinese multi-family office to win in a global category this year.

Commenting on the firm’s triumph, Euromoney said: "Fargo Wealth wins this award for the differentiated approach and comprehensive services it provides to entrepreneurs and families. The firm is a China and Asia-focused, digital-first multi-family office. It provides next generation wealth and asset management capabilities, family office services and an incubation platform to support the growth and development of investment offices and external asset managers. It is a distinct proposition, designed to cater to the wealthy entrepreneurs of the region's new economy enterprises across industries such technology, media and telecoms, biotech, and consumer. Its approach seems to be working. Over 80% of its private clients - which include technology titans such as ByteDance, Alibaba and Baidu - come from the new economy sectors. In addition, more than 70% of its clients are under the age of 50, highlighting how attractive Fargo's proposition is to younger generations.”

About the Awards

For over 20 years, the programme has recognised the private banks of distinction across key categories, which today includes high to ultra-high net worth, family office services, succession planning, digital services, discretionary portfolio management, sustainability and more.

From 18 global awards – including world’s best private bank, and best private bank for entrepreneurs – to multiple regional and country awards, the comprehensive programme covers the business areas of private banking and wealth management that are most important to an institution’s key stakeholders, board and executive management teams.

We seek the best of the best in private banking services globally, regionally and in each country. This simply means we are looking for the banks that can best demonstrate how they have truly excelled over the award period in providing their clients with the best possible advice, service and solutions. Each award is submission-based, allowing each bank to tell the story of its achievements, innovations and performance over the 12-month award period, which runs from October to September each year.
